You could say I’ve achieved, or at least I believe I’ve achieved, the American Dream…not in wealth as what we equate to success these days, but in wealth of experiences & friendships.
My story starts as so many….immigrant, 6 year old girl fleeing a politically corrupt, communistic country, Poland to be specific. I left Poland on a TWA jumbo jet with a one-way ticket to Vegas, stepped off the flight in 1983 and have ran with my fortune ever since. I always say “for those that were fortunate enough and were actually born in this beautiful county, thank your lucky stars…you got a free pass. For those that immigrated here, thank your lucky stars too…you got a golden ticket”. Not only did I get the golden ticket, but I also hit the jackpot by planting my roots in Las Vegas.
Las Vegas is a magical place to grow up, I’ve seen so much change and with it, opportunity. I’ve experienced every facet of this ever-evolving playground. I started working at 16 while in high school (fast food joint), then went off to college. I ended up working in 5 of the major hotel resorts when I was young, slinging drinks, serving food and eventually managing starting at age 21 and for a few years thereafter. Eventually transitioning to real estate sales, while I was a hairdresser…yes, both, you have to hustle in Vegas or you’ll be run over. From there, I found myself selling Ferrari’s at the Wynn Resort which eventually led me to meet my past boss at Acrylic Tank Manufacturing…world’s leader in custom aquariums and acrylic exhibits…I was the estimator for 12 years….on top of that, we landed on a TV show on Animal Planet called “TANKED” that ran for 8 years….needless to say, juggling work and TV life was a once in a lifetime opportunity that brought me endless memories, friendships, lessons, skills and most of all, gratitude for the wild, hectic, amazing, unforgettable ride.
No matter how hectic life got, I’ve always been blessed to have been surrounded by people in my life that have embraced the “beach boats bungalows” lifestyle…this stabilized and refueled me. This was the circle that continuously looped in my life & I’m eternally grateful for the people in that circle that welcomed me with open arms. I’d always find myself surrounded by the peace & calm of a warm beach, the sounds of waves crashing, the mesmerizing sunsets, the roars of motor boats, the wind screaming through my hair, delicious food & drinks in a bungalow with island vibes playing in the background…and what made all these moments memorable were the people I spent these “down time” moments with…the conversations, the laughs, the hugs, the music, the dancing, the food, the drinks, the unity….my circle.
Once the show came to a natural end, I took some much needed time off and thought “you’re 42 now, what do you want to do?”….& naturally, the “beach boats bungalows” lifestyle was born…it was my full circle moment. There are no better things in life to me than these settings and experiences shared with family and friends… They bring us together…and together, we are just better. I hope to expand this brand and continue filling my circle with new experiences, friendships, lessons & kind gestures.
Join our circle and fill it with love.
